Pros

Manageable workload and clear expectations. Positive team environment and a decent discount, though it could be better.

Cons

Variable scheduling and busy days can be stressful, but that's the same with any job.

Pros

-It's a minimum wage position in retail, don't come in expecting too much. - Great with hours! I work around my busy schedule. HR is excellent when it comes to scheduling with what you request. If I randomly need more hours one week, most of the time a team lead and/or HR will find the hours for you. -When I work it's a lot of University students and/or young adults working full-time. - No true complaints after almost two years. It's a part-time job so don't expect much or get too wrapped up in any drama or issues because at the end of the day it doesn't matter as this is a multi-billion dollar company... if you're looking for a job to pay the bills, have some spending money, and to save as an undergraduate student this is for you! - Unlike other companies in Joplin, you get to take your breaks. We have enough people working where you NEVER should feel pressured to skip breaks. Typically in an 8 hour shift it's two 15 mins breaks and one 30 min break. - The discounts are super helpful as a student, and even apply to the Starbucks in store. - Coworkers and team-leads are good. Most team-leads try to get to know you, which I appreciate.

Cons

- Sometimes you have to interact with odd guests... - Not the department where I work, but Guest Services has a harsh turn-over rate. It's extremely fast-paced and involves a lot of guest interaction.
