Pros

Flexible for college schedule. Decently easy. If you do your work well, management is usually not on your back. You can grow here in management if you want it bad enough. Just be prepared to move stores for opportunity or within another department

Cons

store in general is high vloume, so management has triuble keeping up. Management kinda sucks sometimes and can make or break how much you like it there. Also favoritism is real, not the worst, but it exists. Also corporately hate how Target has chosen to not align with anything political and has done away w a lot of the DEI stuff they were HEAVILY pushing before when I first got hired. The CEO should be ashamed

Pros

The pay seems nice…at first.

Cons

The work/life balance is non-existent. They tell you that you are expected to work 50 hours a week but that’s the bare minimum, expect to work 55-60 a week, every week. Lots of nights and weekend and holidays. The workload is overwhelming and the physical toll it takes on your body is extreme. Upper management has clear favorites and if you’re not one of them, you won’t get promoted.
