Not so bad.

Pros

Not usually boring, good opportunity for advancement. Depending on the location, usually a steady flow of work to do, especially on Sunday afternoons!

Cons

Lots of high-schoolers and senior citizens. Low pay in comparison to other retailers. Lots of rules and regulations that don't seem to make sense.

Pros

Involvement in community/charitable work. Able to grow (if you have a degree)

Cons

Work/Life balance sucks. It's retail, which is bad in itself, but combined with the "politics" makes it a poor place to work if you aren't constantly kissing someone's butt.
