Target needs some major improvements

Pros

Some flexibity in schedule but not much Discount is ok. Covers the tax and a little more.

Cons

Poor worklife balance. Managers don't listen and do whatever they feel is neccesary (e.g. scheduling on you days that you are not available without your consent) Poor promotion, seems like you have to know somebody instead of based on performance Way too much favortism going on Harassing guests to open red card and to buy extended warranties Some nasty lying customers

Promotions are decided prior to interviews, very little feedback on performance, reviews are not personalized

good benefits. friendly people. sales associates know what they are talking about and go through product training. very positive in the field of customer service

Cons

company tried to sell high end furniture rather than focusing on return gardening customers. this let to its eventual liquidation.
