Pros

-Great team of nice people, almost everyone is willing to help after closing if the team still has sections to finish. If you fall behind and someone is done early, they will make an effort to help you 9 times out of 10. -Somewhat repetitive, so many days will look the same and you get used to the routine quickly. -You can pick up extra hours on register after you've been trained and if you ask to be cross trained in another department, management will consider it and see if they can accommodate.

Cons

If you aren't comfortable doing cash register work, you may not love the role. You will be cross trained as a register backup, so during busy checkout times, expect that you can always be pulled from your department (style or any other department you work in) to fill in until the lines are manageable. In my opinion, this wasn't too bad, but something to be aware of.
