      Friendly colleagues. Pleasant working atmosphere.

      Cons

      Organization is resistant to change and improvements. Rigid organizational structure. It used to be a government owned company, you can sense it.

      North American business was slow to change and was managed as if it were much smaller than what the company really is.

      Pros

      The company makes a great product and puts their money where their mouth is with regards to caring for the environment. They work every day to make products more sustainable. They care about employees and employee programs getting better all the time like, career discussions, internal and external training opportunities, etc. For the most part, they have a leadership team that really cares about people (no company has that 100% anyway) so Tarkett is pretty darn good. Most are open to new idea, new thinking, and looking at better ways to do things. We have some great people who are really smart and caring! It's also great working for a global company.

      Cons

      In North America, since the Tandus purchase, they have acted like two separate companies, but new CEO is bringing the two companies together. There will be challenges in this process, but in the end, it will be powerful to work for a billion dollar region of a global company. All companies have challenges, but the company works hard to address them.
