Pros
1) Job security 2) Tata brand 3) Onsite opportunities (varies based on projects) 4) Digital exam for promotions for 0-3 years experienced and different learning curves for upskill an d promotions above 3 years.
Cons
1) You cannot join TCS again if you leave company. 2) Development projects are less. Most of them are support . But might vary based on location and projects. 3) Limited technology learning scope in some projects. 4) Will be good to enter after gaining some experience as a senior so that you can settle in TCS. For fresher its not good unless you prefer only job safety and not growth. 5) Hikes are low.
