Don't work here if you value yourself

Pros

- Informal culture - Work life balance

Cons

Ever since starting here it has become worse and worse. They keep taking away benefits while not adjusting salaries at the pace of inflation. Career progression here only happens if people leave so it's all up to chance. There is no real recognition for your work but they tell us to snitch on colleagues because a low performing one is "toxic". Can't make this up. The level of projection coming from management is laughable and they don't even acknowledge what we ask (higher salaries, recognition and career progression). I really cannot recommend working here. They just forced us to be in on Mondays with a week's notice during summer. Very disappointing because it used to be so much more fun and has great potential but right now it's unbearable and has been for a while.

Thank you for your feedback. It is invaluable to our growth as a business. We fully agree that our people are incredible and that is why we put such great emphasis on them through our employee benefits and flexible leave policies. Since COVID-19 brought mental health to the forefront, in 2020 we introduced mental health days to ensure employees are taking a well-deserved break and maintaining a healthy work/life balance. Our North American leadership team, which is composed of 50% males and 50% females, including multiple members who are in the racial and/or sexual identity minority, have dedicated countless hours to collecting and acting on employee feedback through anonymous surveys. One immediate action point was the launch of our first semi-blind hiring process to mitigate unconscious bias and hired four candidates as a result, joining us in mid-March. We will soon test an integration with Career Place, who will help us find the best candidates through anonymous and non-bias candidate screening moving forward. Following our annual review cycle, where each employee completes a self-assessment and receives a manager assessment for their work, we were proud to promote 36 people within the North American business for their hard work and dedication. We recognize that no two journeys at Teads are alike and we don’t like to stunt our employee's growth by having rigid steps in place, therefore we encourage you to revisit and take charge of your career path – the possibilities are endless. We would welcome the opportunity to continue this dialogue with you through the help of our Human Resources department and encourage you to reach out directly. Ines Quesada Chief People Officer

Pros

Decent pay, free health insurance

Cons

Didn’t handle covid furloughing and laying off very well. I get that things have to happen, but have more respect for your employees while doing so.

Thank you for taking the time to offer your feedback and for making mention of our great employee benefits. We are proud of the work we’ve done to accommodate our team members in this way and look forward to continually developing this as we grow. As you can imagine, the COVID-19 pandemic hit us, like everyone, very hard. After many steps were taken internally to mitigate the impact on our staff, a small portion of furloughs became necessary. Each furloughed employee maintained their health insurance, as the health and safety of all our people is and remains the primary concern. Monthly updates were provided to those staff members impacted and when possible, employment was restored. Please don’t hesitate to contact our Human Resources department if you have additional feedback that will help us better ourselves for our future growth. Ines Quesada Chief People Officer
