Variety of roles. Some are good. most are boring grunt work

If you are very good at your job and you get a good role, you will be given freedom and responsibility

Cons

Lots of meaningless billable roles. You may get stuck in such a role. Even if you get a good role and do good work you will have to face office politics and groupism. If you are good, you will have freedom in work but if you cannot manage the politics, you will not get salary rise or promotion Major client is reducing work

Overall if yu don't want onsite desparately good place to hand around for some time and make decent good money.

Cons

1. Almost zero onsite opportunities. If you are really lucky or very high performer you may get a 2 to 3 months trip. 2. Recently they stopped the bonus component of the salary which was additional benefit over the CTC. The bonus was a great added advantage and motivation of working in a captive. Although the Bonus is not stopped for manager and above levels. This does not really sound very fair. 3. Struggling and fighting with vendors for projects as vendors also work on similar projects. Felt more like working in a vendor not a client place. 4. Job not as secure like vendor companies 5. Too many managers to manage very small number of people and lot of micro management in place pisses you off at times. 6. Promotions are real slow and your career is the mercy of your manager. It is like kingdom and the manager is king with all powers.
