      Storied history and name in the industry

      Tektronix has lost its identity. New management doesn’t understand T&M business. No longer hires from within but focusing on people from semiconductor industry who don’t understand T&M business nor do they want to. Slowly becoming a low cost, low performance, scope vendor with non technical, low cost commodity sales people. They’ve lost their technological edge and are no longer seen as experts in the industry.

      Good work/life balance, industry pay standards

      Cons

      Horrible management, they just keep shuffling same managers to different positions. Keeping the same culture. Half the managers don’t manage or deal with issues until they’re huge problems whether with customers or employees. No time to train, no time to listen. Techs are the driving force and face to the customer.
