Benefits are good, profit sharing (some years), rewards for tenure

Cons

Management promotes incompetence and holds productive employees in place, more likely to hire outside the company for positions. Not a good work/life balance and short staffed for long periods of time.

Pros

Interesting projects, decent pay, especially if you have been there awhile. Chances for promotion, and increase in responsibility. Good benefits.

Cons

It is typical in the industry, but the severance agreement prohibits saying anything negative about the company, so I will stay mum on this.

Management is becoming laughable. Since starting 2 years ago I have had 3 managers. The latest in the line of managers ignored issues I had, continues to try to intimidate me with old company policies and micromanages everything to an embarrassing level. Instead of telling me how you think the process I do every day can be improved why don't you learn a part of it so you can actually understand why it is done the way it is.
