      The new owners (Danaher) are presently in a mode where the employees are demoralized and unsure of their next paycheck. Senior employees are targets, which is affecting technology and products

      Pros

      One of the best companies to work for in the Portland Area. Danaher recently acquired Tektronix and has begun restructuring the company.

      Cons

      Majority of the workforce is comprised of people who have been around for a long long time... we are talking 15-40 years of experience at the company. That brings with it a whole set of issues. People are used to doing things one way for a very long time and bringing about change is not only difficult but nearly impossible until you replace these people.
