      Pros

      Lot of knowledgeable people that are always willing to share knowledge. Coworkers are hard working and loyal. They have learned to do the best with what is available. Benefits / compensation are comparable to other companies in the area.

      Cons

      People are squeezed for all they have. They are overworked for more profit, while at the same time the budget is cut and staff are reduced. The remaining people are expected to take up the slack. Layoffs are a yearly event. A group that is targeted will have the budget cut and be forced to accommodate the new budget with reduced staff and / or resources. Managers actually have little to no choice in the matter.
