Pay, Helping the Public, "Training Trips", Experience.

Cons

Poor management. no advancement opportunities, no training. I was told to read a manual and do the work, the manual changed 5 times within a year. NO assistance or support from state office. Miles and miles run on personal vehicle, over 30,000 in a years time. Recruitment is insane. Constant threats and very hostile working environment.

Fulfilling and important services to people who really need them - we play an important role in helping people get jobs, support their kids and get their lives to a better place

Cons

We got new leadership a couple of years ago and thing went from bad to almost unbearable. Everyone is paranoid- ED micro manages everything . Dept heads are stressed and it trickles down- but nobody escapes the ED's picking and criticism. Morale is in the pits. Huge focus on new meeting structures and report cards that just make more stress.
