Pros

fair salaries, good benefits package, great facility, challenging work and lots of opportunities to learn from peers and management.

Cons

lots of restructuring, especially at the management level and beyond. focus is on how good we look to investors. frequent talk of lowering annual raises for emmployees in order to make yearly earnings look better, however upper management always get their fat bonuses

Annual raises are determined using a market based approach and Teleflex will always want to remain competitive with other companies to ensure we are attractive to job seekers and we retain our employees.

Pros

Great technology, hands down. If you get at the "upswing" of your career you'll stand to learn a lot; however, once you're past that point it may become rather boring and repetitive. The opportunities to work on some good technology are a plus and training is paid for.

Cons

You will have to navigate the "it wasn't invented here" syndrome with co-workers who have little desire to advance their skills. Lots of intra-office talking behind backs too. Last, but not least, you'll find management who have great intentions but lack any diversity in their career portfolio making off the cuff decisions.

Pros

Some well established brands. Good training program. They prefer b2b background rather than a sales background.

Cons

Current management are Ethicon and Covidien wannabees. Little or no innovation. Management is more concerned about their own careers and there is little concern for the end customers...big price increases passed onto customers during the past two years which makes management look good in the short term.
