Horrible management where people play favorites, do not listen to the tech's concerns about the lab environment, have inconsistent policies and enforcement, do not actually care about their subordinates, and do the bare minimum of the title "supervisor." The work culture here is also terrible and has cultivated a culture where snitching gets you places and people who actually do their work and get along with people frequently get in trouble. The work itself is monotonous and you will not gain any relevant scientific experience here. Incredibly poor employee retention and lab personnel are barely treated as humans with emotions, both by management and administration. Terrible PTO and sick time policy for lab employees. No 401k matching.
