Pros
There are good people here but they, including middle management, are not empowered to lead and/or innovate. Most have left on their own accord or were recently laid off.
Cons
Fear culture has driven this company into the ground. They had a massive lay off in November 2019 where they provided a month of severance before the holidays including to tech folks on visas. They CEO showed no remorse and instead became defensive stating “we aren’t required to give you anything”. The best thing the private equity group can do now is sell this business segment for parts, which they more than likely are trying to do at the moment. More people will continue to leave with only the lifers remaining at the end thinking they’ll squeak it out as they have repeatedly for years. They are starting to post for backfills now so if you’re reading this and considering applying, just know that your employment will be temporary and you will eventually be let go without notice. Save yourself the time and pain and wait for a better opportunity in your job search. You can do better.
