      Pros

      ***********JOB SECURITY********** If you are looking to be able to show up late for your shift or go home early regularly or just don’t come in at all regularly, be unqualified to do your job, not do your job, create tension amongst the other staff members and do just enough to get by this is the place for you. Even better if you are a physician looking to work for Tenet, it doesn’t matter what you do or don’t do or how you treat the staff you will have a permanent place to work. It’s all about the nickels and dimes folks, if you contribute your chunk of the change your home free.

      Cons

      Poor management due to lack of communication with staff. Salaries and Tenet benefits are atrocious. They claim you have paid holidays but you have to use your earned time for the holiday. They keep the unproductive and problem employees and fail to recognize the hard working, productive and dedicated employees. Backwards thinking.

      Quickly gain healthcare knowledge. You can create your own way to make it work.

      Cons

      Inexperienced management. You have to figure it out yourself because they just don't know.

      Pros

      They pay well, but it is totally not worth the $ for the pain you go through. The office is nice. I really can't think of any other pros.

      Cons

      This company is going down hill very quickly. There is a good ole boy CEO who seems to be missing the point. A lot of new people have been brought in, but they have no idea what is going on. The higher ups do not talk to anyone below a Sr Director. Unfortunately, the director down level are the ones doing the work. Decisions happen, but tools and platforms are not taken into consideration. So what is being asked means hours of work arounds. When the people in charge of the tools tell them that there is a better way to do it, they do not listen. It's their way or the highway. The phrase worker smarter not harder means nothing to many. You bust your butt 7 days a week to stay ahead while higher ups implement items that make no sense. There is no communication from them on WHY these decisions are made.
