      Maintenance, Smithville Tn. Plant. Started out very good went down hill quick

      Pros

      Opportunity to learn other areas of maintenance. Has potential to be better, but know someone who worked in a different plant/state had some of the same issues.

      Cons

      Alot of management change, want to run the plant department their way, not necessarily by the company hand book. Been here 11 month my schedule has changed 8 times. Had multiple ways to track downtime, while the computer system in place is not used

      Pros

      It pays well. If you are lucky you won't have to work much.

      Cons

      Too much hierarchy; Most of the managers I know do a poor job; To blue collars, they don't keep their promisses; There is a imense of time lost in unproductive meetings; Everything is urgent, even what is not so important; Lack of prioritazation from the managers; Investment in training is scarse and hard to get; Overall lack of trust; You get more work if you do a good job, you get less work if you do a lausy job;
