      Intelligent and dedicate work force Incredible core database product Employee dedication despite management structire

      Cons

      Grind you to dust work mentality Senior Management still thinks like NCR in the 80's Confused Product management plan sponsors competitors over internal solutions Compensation lags the industry severely even though management tries to suggest it is in line Moral is sinking extremely fast in many areas Product Quality is no longer a top priority, stock price rules the day every day

      Good Place to work only if you are into Datawarehousing

      1. If you are really into Datawarehousing, then only choose to work in Teradata. 2. Can work from home.

      Cons

      1. Don't believe HR in Mumbai, as they can sell you sky 2. Middle management is a mix of really good people, and real nutcases. 3. If you are not into Datawarehousing then you are made to feel worthless. 4. Can lose the job anytime, as per manager whims.

      Pros

      People are really focused and diligent on their line of work Good work-life balance with flexible working hours Business is in a good position to grow dramatically (if executed correctly) Not much political game playing at workplace A good mix of talents, old and young, experienced and fresh

      Cons

      Some processes exist just because they are predefined and existing. Compensation is low for talented employees Groups and product teams work in silos without sufficient communication across. Management is afraid of change and risk. Some people tend not to break out of their comfort zones and experiment with new ideas
