Pros

By far its people and the comradery amongst the troops.

Cons

Turnover is incredibly high, especially at the senior level which sets the tone. Lost a lot of great leaders in sales. Constant RIFS, questionable management practices, very low morale, declining sales and customers, no loyalty to tenured employees. Seen very clear practices of age discrimination to reduce headcount and save budget dollars. All very evident on Layoffs.com Do not fall for the "we one of the most ethical companies" statement. You can be a top 10 CMO for the right $$ as well.

Pros

Lots of great individuals working very hard to make Teradata successful.

Cons

Continued rotation of VPs. All with new strategy that spins teams. Priorities conflict between teams. Lots of politics in play with no thoughts as to how employee view constant change. Turnover very high, brain drain.

Toxic environment with high turnover

Pros

"Unlimited Vacation" policy and promised bonuses. Decent health care.

Cons

Leaders have said no bonuses will be paid in March 2022 in spite of a 200% y2y stock increase. Everyone is constantly working long hours with deadlines. Management has no plans to change the work environment. Opinions of employees are ignored or not even solicited. 50% turnover rate in 2021 often driven by lack of internal promotion opportunities. Leaders are toxic, abusive towards employees. When needed HR is non existent. All PMO employees were directed to be given meets expectations in spite of performance. RSUs are only going to be awarded to exceptional ratings. Hiring is biased, even when multiple interviewers give a strong no, a managers with personal biases still makes the hire. Innovation is mostly non existent. No feeling of job security. Layoffs are always a fear and happen without notice to employees. Company hid the numbers of the last layoff ( WARN ACT ). People who have been with the company for years are let go or forced out without severance. Too many leaders lacking the experience to perform their roles. People cannot safely speak up about problems and rightly fear reprisal.
