      Poor Leadership, Lazy HR

      Pros

      The technology is still recognized as leading the industry. It's a great place if you're a customer, but not if you're an employee.

      Cons

      the leadership team does not know how to run a company in a competitive market. The stock price has dropped from $80 down to the mid-to-upper $20s. The HR department is uninvolved and ineffective at a time when talented people are rushing out the door or seeing their positions eliminated because of the bloated top and do-little middle managers.

      Friendly place to work but going nowhere

      Pros

      Friendly environment, nice people, low pressure, not too much stress. The people who work here are really nice.

      Cons

      The pay is lower compared to industry leaders. The bonus system means you earn less than at other companies for the same job. The turnover is really high and the most talented people leave.

      Great products, very smart people. Long tenure.

      Cons

      It is an administrative role more than sales. Feverish account plans, opportunity plans, call plans, and close plans before you ever speak to a prospect. They focus so much time on creating imaginary deals and supporting collateral for those imaginary deals that it is difficult to make time to see prospects. comp plan is terrible unless you have a major account like AT&T, JPM, COKE, Boeing, Target, etc. Everyone else starves. I calculated the time wasted on administration is about 40%. at times much higher.
