I feel like the employees and customers at Terminix are just numbers on a spread sheet. My Branch Manager had no idea of the ground I had to cover every day or of any special needs that my customers may have required. Our branch changed managers 6 months into my tenure and I feel that the new man could have worked with us a little better.The first thing he did when he arrived was to change up everybody's routes. He should have left that stay the way it was. I had to start from scratch learning a new route that was 50% of my production. I was let go almost 1 year to the day I was hired.

Both to employees and customers A) employees aren't given the chance to move up the ladder instead in the 2 years I was there I saw them managers 4 times. 2 of them were atrocious, one was a recently graduated school teacher with a major attitude the other an ex marine jerk with serious issues. The only one good manager quit because he didn't want to be part of this organization B) new customers are duped into passing close to $400 a year for an "all encompassing" guarantee known as tipp. The little catch is that it doesn't cover the most common type of termites that is drywood and so if you need a tent or there is damage it's all on you I really hate ranting so I'll stop here but these are but a few examples of what you can expect at terminix. Oh wait I shouldn't end my review without being fair. The only ones that do make decent money are either pest control technicians with a decent route or dishonest sales men. Anyone else is bound to be disappointed
