Pros
Big and stable company. Sales reps, receive company car, gas card , ipad. Industry is recession proof ( almost ) . Commercial Sales only way to go! Better hours!! Good work home life balance!! Not a bad job , just have to focus on the good!
Cons
Lots of competition within your own company. Beyond local management no one really cares who sells what. Your competition is everywhere from small time companies, to large companies, your own tech's and residential side of business. Also it is a turn and burn sale. No real residual. Hard to find verticals other than hotels (w/ bed bug ) that can provide residual sales. You must follow up on everything as lots of management will drop the ball on your deals. Makes it challenging to follow through for your customers.
