Pros

Safety is the top priority here. It's part of the culture and they will stand behind their employees fully if they dont feel comfortable proceeding on a jobsite because of safety concerns. Their benefits are very good and they treat their employees well. I have recommended Terracon to a number of friend and family members for that reason.

Cons

The pay is not the highest in the industry but I do feel that the benefits packages compensate for that well.

Pros

HR and management at the local offices are great. They are really helpful and try to work with employees on scheduling and other issues.

Cons

The corporate HR department in Kansas is awful. We had an issue with adding our newborn to our insurance and they did NOTHING to help and didn't even try to find another avenue for us to get coverage. They were also rude and inconsiderate of our situation. The Health insurance at this company to begin with is awful and expensive for a family. I just wish the benefits department would have been nicer and more helpful to us instead of insulting my intelligence.
