      Not good to work for.

      Pros

      You get to ride your truck around with a cone in the back. Staff people get all the perks - the big bonuses, time off without being fired for not being chargable.

      Cons

      The hours - some days you work 3 hrs and some days you work 17. Sometimes you get a couple hours notice that your schedule changes the following day. Sometimes you go back to college, only to have management let you go for not being available at 4 in the morning on 2 days a week.

      Some great people, variety of projects, safety culture

      Cons

      45 hours minimum expected per week even though you only get paid for 40 hours, no extra overtime pay unless you are hourly, low pay, each office is like it's own little island and heaven forbid you cross into the other's territory, business is extremely variable, constant harping on chargeability and budgets gets old, CEO leaving and new one is known to be a penny pincher, depending on the office there is not much room for advancement.
