Pros
Usually lots of work to go around which means lots of overtime pay. No micromanaging. Company provides all materials and protective clothing/equipment.
Cons
The company culture is divided into two groups. Those that are a PE and those that are not. If you are a PE it is a decent place to work for. If you are not, you will never get anywhere in this company, no matter what your skill level, experience, or education. Low starting pay across the board. Bonuses for hourly are a joke and benefits are mediocre at best. Employee owned company, by the upper level employees, of course. Safety is preached by management but when it comes down to it they want you to "just get the job done." Most of them have no idea what is going on with their projects and never step foot onto a construction site. Speak your mind or raise concerns and you will regret it!
