Pros

Good firm for entry level. Good experience. Realxed work environment. Long hours of work are generally not required. Good beneifts.

Cons

Poor salaray scale Can progress only if you know how to play "company politics" No reward for hard work (neither overtime nor bonus) Jobs are not challanging after you gain some years of experience, same old.. same old... No mentoring at all.

Lower Level Employees Paid Very Low Wages Raises Come From an Allotted Amount Of Money From Corporate Office. Company Judges As a Whole Not By Region. Some Managers Literally Do Nothing. Techs Can Be Laid Off Whenever Office Gets Slow. 70+ Hour Summers... Struggle To Get 30 In The Winter. Hard Work To Try And Provide For Family.

Pros

Great experience, they are willing to train you and get you any certification, they pay for all equipment needed. Really great company values and a high value on safety. The people Terracon hires have been generally fantastic, and they seem to hire you based on compatibility with other team members more than experience.

Cons

You are expected to work at LEAST 44 hours a week. Most people need to be chargeable at LEAST 85% of the time. Sometimes you have to work on weekends and/or holidays. The offices are usually understaffed and they work you to death.
