Cons

50¢ for a yearly raise as a top technician is inexcusable. This was not unique to me. Never given opportunities for certifications, which is the only thing that brings value to our position. (Keep in mind we’re still expected to do the types of inspections and tests that a certified person would do). You will be promised many things by management, they rarely will follow through, which is sad because some of us have put in countless years and have nothing to show for it. Management will always put the job above their own personnel, which is common in construction companies, and exists here as well.

100% employee owned with a safety oriented culture. Flexible work environment with very competitive pay and great benefits. If you put in the work the career advancement opportunities will present themselves. The leadership team cares about your professional and personal advancement. Opportunities to buy company owned stock.

Cons

There is potential for long hours during the summer (however, overtime is paid) and having to rearrange your schedule to meet client and contractor demands.
