Frequent Changes in Management, Pay vs. Work Ratio, Poor Leadership, Lack of Training, Lack of Support, Changes in Job Title.
Explanation: Getting into the cons (Mind you I am not disgruntled or a bad employee just a normal employee trying to progress and build a career) I will start with the frequent changes in management from my time at this location I have witness 6 managers in which we report to either get fired or quit. The constant shift in leaders left every team except service (in my opinion) feeling unsupported. Leaders at this company move up but with little experience for the job they are promoted to with this being said it leads to an over poor leadership experience. Now when it comes to training for a position there is none you watch a couple outdated "training" videos and then you are literally thrown to the wolves. When one is to bring up concerns about the lack of training you are meet with the famous phrase "that's how Tesla is...I didn't get any training either" which is unsettling and I understand we have all worked at jobs with no training but for the amount and type of work being asked of you one would expect a better training regiment at least. Ive seen employees get in trouble for things they have had no training on and when the employees state this was a result to lack of training say nothing and proceed to execute write ups. Leadership both old and new are completely unprofessional. Over the course of working here I have been lied too about "Black out periods" , Falsely Written Up, Had my PTO and Sick time misused, and gaslit mentally and emotionally. The new leadership (New GM & Sales manager) paint a picture as if you are all family and that things are all good and strive to support you but this is the furthest from the truth. The GM is very aggressive and as little regard to how he speaks to people and his tone is very condescending. The sales manager is more so the one running the show as he has been with the company the longest and molding the GM into his "Mini Me" while he remains passive aggressive and dismissive to employee concern and will basically speak in circle until you give up on the original concern or say "let's revisit this for time purposes". Briefly touching on the change in job titles Tesla has changed the job titles of multiple positions with no additional pay but increase work load. Now for the amount of pay vs. work Tesla is definitely missing the mark considering that most of the GA region is understaffed which would call for more hiring/opening of positions which they refuse to due but instead will lay off or "purge" the current staff to less than a skeleton crew which leads to a extreme disconnect in work life balance. There is a running joke that the reason Tesla's benefits are so amazing is due to the high levels of stress this job & management causes so much that most of the current and former employees have or are seeking therapy. Again this is a honest review and in no shape or form am I saying that I was a perfect employee I have been late (within a normal range and called off like anyone else but I was a honest employee who would occasionally go above and beyond for customer and coworkers but I felt like no one talks about this company from a honest stand point please I strongly recommend if you are considering this company do your research, Try a different region or better location I just want this review to be a resource in the decision making process for those who choose to utilize it.)
