Pros

pros? absolutely nothing at all

Cons

trust is not a word you can ever use at this hospital. every department here is full of miserable people and every day was becoming more dull. you can’t trust management with anything at all- and senior staff acts like they’re related to mark wallace himself. nepotism is STRONG here and if you want to build something at your work, this is not the place for it. this is the lowest paying hospital for pharmacy techs in Houston- and recruiters will lie to you with details to lure you in to a completely different job than what you thought you applied for. there’s so many managers and you can’t count on any single one to manage an upcoming issue. they throw in your face that they can do your job better than you then will sit at a desk to further prove their incompetence. you want a job where you’re constantly being watched on camera? do you want to be micromanaged- with constant texts on your own cell phone that you pay for? then texas children’s is just for you!

Pros

Insurance is great Leaders always came around and asked if there were any concerns from the employees Equipment top notch

Cons

(Me problem) didn’t feel supported in the unit, My preceptors always sent an email to management about something and I felt my job was always in jeopardy. After training was over I was fine, but I have a forgiving/non confrontational personality. NICU was the only ICU that didn’t get the differential increase, so there were new grads coming in the hospital making more than some experience nurses.
