Pros

Good place to learn about circuit design. As an individual you will be owning complicated circuits from scratch till RTM. Lot of good technical people to talk to and grow your skills. Texins is another great place to find recreation.

Cons

Cons might kick in if one stays for long enough and wants to do something bigger suddenly. It is a big org with many good people. You are always behind the cue no matter what you can achieve.

Pros

A strong business strategy for long term and dependence on internal manufacturing with strong financials makes it a good employer for long term. Pay is competitive. People who love to work on core analog will have good opportunities here.

Cons

Heavy focus on only new college hires but experienced people left to fend for themselves. HR can re-imagine how to make the workspace more attractive for people with various kinds of experience levels including opening up options for part-time work and people with different priorities in life. Career growth in the later years can become fuzzy and not every person needs to grow to the highest level. Feels like the company always is chasing competition and it makes the employees feel that they are not good enough even after putting in a lot of hard work. Though there are recognitions for product success, it doesn't affect the general perception on how the company operates because all projects are rushed up to catch up with competition.
