Pros

Great Benefits Work with smart people Technical discussions and technical knowledge acquisition are encouraged.

Cons

After staying long time in a similar job (3-4 years as engineer) it's almost impossible to grow or find opportunities outside technical positions. Especially if you wan to do Business Development or Marketing. Very bureaucratic culture at upper management. Entrepreneurship is almost discouraged from individual contributors

Pros

Good people Benefits are pretty good for a large company Allow you to work from home anytime Profit sharing.

Cons

They are seriously cheap. Office decor is terribly outdated. Not many in office freebies like lunch, office supplies, company logo'ed stuff, etc. Management will lay you off same day with no notice and out of the blue.
