Pros

A lot of very bright people work at TI and they are very flexible with time.

Cons

Recent closings of sites. Fewer internal symposia/events than in years past.

Pros

There are many good hard working people at this company.

Cons

Management is becoming oppressive. Layers of management are being added, and promotions go to young fresh engineers/marketing people who do not have the training, ability, or often the aptitude to manage people or projects.

Pros

Relaxed schedule, and easy place to work. Not a lot of pressure with schedule. And good for family building overall.

Cons

A lot of politics. And office politics take priority over engineering work. Not a great place if you are interested in producing something. This is not the TI in the past.
