Pros

Stable job. Pandemic had little to no effect on layoffs, pay, and raises - that's how stable. Very difficult to be let go, lots of room for mobility (upward or lateral), so many opportunities in one company and it's not super hard to move around. Several sites around the US and the world. The people are generally friendly and helpful. The company is more ethical than you'd expect such a big company to be.

Cons

More bloated than it could be. Lots of bureaucracy and forms to fill out. Management wants to reduce headcount as a measure of efficiency which often leads to worse efficiency. For example tech writers are laid off which means engineers spend lots of time fighting with XML to make datasheets and other documentation.
