Pros

Lot of system checks in place, resources avaialble to help you in your role.

Cons

Under appreciated role. No one appreciates you for keeping things going smoothly but one small hiccup, everyone from customers to product line will be behind you!

Pros

- Consistent paycheck - Easy to get away with doing nothing - Meeting a status quo is optimal here

Cons

- Management in general seems to lack general knowledge of even the most basic Industry Standard "best practices." - Brute-force-and-difficulty methodology exists everywhere while finesse and true innovation are defferred to the term "fancy."
