Pros

Plenty of interesting challenges and priority to having appropriate work-life balance. Profit sharing bonus has been great past few years. Managers do care and try to help you develop in your role.

Cons

Many positions are understaffed so there is risk of being overworked. Pay is fair but not quite a plus outside the heavily taxed bonus.

Pros

TI hires straight from college for a very generous salary, and the atmosphere promotes a lot of learning early on. As a way to get a well known, reputable company on your resume TI is amazing! The job pays well, has great benefits, and is very stable.

Cons

Worker morale seems to be a step above pure apathy outside of management. The environment tailors itself as a treadmill, an endless pursuit, rather than having clear cut goals. There also does not seem to be a feeling of upward momentum. It seems stability has come at the cost of striving for something greater.
