Pros

The benefits are good, and we really exercise work ethics.

Cons

The stressful work environment at the production line with low salaries. Long hours of standing at work.

Solid through the corona pandemic

Pros

Company will remain relevant and performing through events like the pandemic. Bonuses and Profit Sharing were not cut. Culture of knowledge sharing is very helpful.

Cons

Bonuses and Profit Sharing are fixed for the Malaysian HR compensation model. They do not vary from person to person. I'm not sure about the other offices. In TI Malaysia, you don't get variable bonus based on how well you perform. You may get an end of year raise, but even that has some kind of semiconductor industry based (in Malaysia) hard limitation. The con of a fixed bonus is subjective to the individual I suppose - if you know what I mean.
