Pros

Good matching on 401(k). Health benefits are pretty good - were better before.

Cons

Buddy culture - latch on to someone who you think is going to go up the ladder and you can rise with them.

Pros

I really enjoyed my summer at TI and am looking forward to going back. You get exposed to a variety of areas and there are many networking opportunities for interns. I found the work both challenging and interesting, while help from peers and supervisors was encouraged across the board.

Cons

Location -- Texas is great, but for specific jobs it seems there are only a few places (mostly in Texas) you can work despite all the nationwide locations. "Remote" Locations -- Interns not in Dallas get access to less networking events.

Pros

Great diversity initiatives where there's something for every background culturally and religiously. 401k match $1/$1 up to 4%. Overall open door policy to management. Flat organization where everyone will eventually know everyone. Official intern/new hire groups that help you merge into your organization and the company.

Cons

Even though work from home can be an option, some managers feel that you need to always be physically present. Top down management stresses work/life balance, but it's not easy to strive for from the bottoms up perspective. Some feel work becomes 24/7 priority even though there's no overtime considered for exempt employees. Over-worked, work related stress, and get it done are the main mentalities. Steep learning curve
