Pros

Access to cutting edge technology. Ability to work with people from all around the world. Big budgets to go to major trade shows, advertise, do market research, etc. Good benefits, paternalistic culture to some extent.

Cons

Insular culture - if you're not from Texas, you're not really in, despite the many employees, including some senior managers, from around the world. Does not take internal criticism well. It was obvious the wireless business would lose to Intel and Qualcomm, but if you really questioned TI's strategy, you were persona non grata. No robust, internal self-critical culture. If you're not an engineer, you're a second class citizen.

Pros

Good compensation , cost-of-living in dallas to very good and you have save good $$.

Cons

Management does not promote innovation on application processor business... re-org after re-org, alignment everywhere and which simply drags the time and kills the productivity ...
