1. Relatively good salary in DFT area. 2. Have a good balance between job and life 3. Good place to learn SC.

Cons

1. HR doesn't really work 2. Managers' styles are so different, there are many managers came from Asia who have bad mentality, it becomes hard to deal with.

Pros

- Smart people...one is aware he/she is working with some of the best minds in industry. - Competitive salary, given Dallas' cost of living - Stability

Cons

- TI could be better if it reduced some of the redundancy in terms of leadership. Too many levels of intermediate management. - Doesn't take as many risks in terms of new ventures

Pros

Good knowledge sharing, good technical environment, good relationship with peers.

Cons

Promotion opportunities extremely limited. Opportunities to young engineers almost non-existant. Amazingly a company with this much brain power promotes managers based on seniority and not performance nor knowledge. Promotion criteria completely wrong.
