Pros

Great culture of helping others with any question that arise. Always welcoming to new employees, and great opportunities to learn,

Cons

As always lot's of work, and maybe should have more experienced employees hired per team.

Pros

* Disclamier: Only applies to A/T Site at Baguio a. A Good Training ground for up and starting Engineers b. Compensation/Benefit is a bit better compared to other Semicon Companies c. A very good Profit Sharing payout scheme d. Travel Opportunities (locally and abroad) e. A lot of processes are stream lined and have been automated f. You will meet a lot of good people who are actually one of the main reasons you'd want to stay.

Cons

* Disclamier: Only applies to A/T Site at Baguio a. If you plan to stay for the long term, be prepared to sacrifice your mental health as this place will drain you. b. The environment can be very toxic since the management still runs things the "old fashioned" way. Scare tactics are rampant. Management would rather have you work under threats of disciplinary actions rather than motivating people on how a good job would actually help improve everyones lives. c. Does not really provide advancement in technical skills for the engineers. If you want to learn, you will need to be resourceful on your own. d. Trainings are a joke. They will schedule you to attend "technical trainings" conducted by one of your peers (not really an expert on the subject) but will not take you offline. You are still expected to be working while on training. e. The Technical Ladder is supposed to be a way to reward / showcase an individuals technical skills, but politics has taken over and most of those nominated are really not deserving. I guess "it's whom you know" is really true. f. Work culture and management is bad. Performance is measured on the assigned projects, but management is actually pushing you to focus more on operations sustaining activities. Management will always require you to DROP all projects and do sustaining jobs instead. g. Too Many people ordering you around. Too many bosses but only a handful are actual leaders. h. Work-life-balance is virtually non-existent. HR has activities that promote work-life balance but said activities do not really apply to most employees. i. If you've heard someone say HR is not your friend, this place defines it.

Pros

- Consistent paycheck - Easy to get away with doing nothing - Meeting a status quo is optimal here

Cons

- Management in general seems to lack general knowledge of even the most basic Industry Standard "best practices." - Brute-force-and-difficulty methodology exists everywhere while finesse and true innovation are defferred to the term "fancy."
