Horrible place for sales, used to be great

Pros

Pay well, good benefits, great product line

Cons

Changed sales strategy few years back. Went to management by (a lot of) spreadsheets. Lots of reports to fill out. Not interested in new ideas to grow. With new direction, have had a massive turn over of sales management and people.

Nice place to work, layoffs every year

Pros

Nice, benefits, great life-work balance, flexible hours. A lot of very talented people.

Cons

They tend to lay people off with little warning pretty much every year. Contractors are usually let go in mid December, permanent employees - at the end of January. Every year management says "We are done with the layoffs" only to let go of more people at the end of the year. This is a dying group at TI that produces a dying technology - calculators.
