Pros

Great retirement benefits! You are REQUIRED to save 9% of your earnings, but the state matches your savings! Very social/supportive colleagues. Lots of government holidays and snow days. Lots of educational opportunities. Some flex scheduling available.

Cons

Lower salary then private sector. Long commute, but that won't be any issue for everyone.
