Pros

Good, if someone was looking to gain experience and to see how lower level politics works in a state government.

Cons

Lack of growth and learning opportunities; non-existent career ladders and pay increases. Poor management, upper and lower levels.

Pros

Flexible hours and most staff are very conscientious about being good stewards and doing a good job.

Cons

Very stingy about giving merit increases; technology policies make it harder to be more effective in your work.
