Pros

Getting paid for hours over 40 and weekly until 2011 The majority of the people are good to work with The complexity of the engineering environment gives good opportunity to learn a lot Nice building and location in south Austin

Cons

Employees are not empowered to make decisions Managers only look out for themselves and will throw employees under the bus They have laid off some really great people with a lot of domain knowledge that would challenge the status quo and kept those that were "yes men" now the ship is sinking even faster. Wish I didn't still have so much company stock...my portfolio has taken a major hit.

Pros

Flexible hours, good pay and decent benefits. Reasonably current in Microsoft .NET and C# technologies, but lagging behind in other areas.

Cons

Complete lack of strategic vision, dwindling contract base, no credible business development plans to replace work being lost, over cronyism in the management ranks, and very poor and sanitized communications between executive and work force.

Pros

South Austin Somewhat flexible schedules. Accommodating facilities Talented individuals to work with in a fast pace environment.

Cons

-Turnover rate goes up, employee morale goes down—the employees who are left feel pressure to carry the load. -Management engages in career pathing which sometimes forces employees down a road they might not want to go. -Minimal training on new technology if not associated with your task at hand. -Team Lead roles not compensated or recognized in a justly manor. -Upper management out-of-the-loop of middle management actions.
