Pros

Iconic American company, fantastic products and product lines, USA manufacturing, excellent benefits, great perks, new owners investing in buildings, equipment, and personnel.

Cons

All decision making is slanted towards Sales and Marketing. Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality are reactionary after-thoughts. Too many technical decisions made by non-technical personnel-- from the floor, up through the front offices, and through the executive ranks.

Pros

Compensation was close to market. Prior to merger with ClosetMaid, the company had a decent strategic direction.

Cons

The merger resulted in ClosetMaid's southern plantation style culture infesting the entire company. Previously the company wanted bottom-up leadership where everyone's input was valued. Following the merger, the direction is shut up and do what you're told, your opinion doesn't matter.
