Pros
From an employee's standpoint: There's 2 big kids club spaces and you can even sign up for a 4-hour parents day away, drop your kid off and go to your appointments or what have you. Keep in mind that childcare is not free here though like it is for employees at other clubs. The front desk staff is super sweet! I'm sure there are more pro's from a members perspective but from an employee, that's about it!
Cons
The negatives greatly outweigh the positives for employees including and especially the unprofessional group exercise department coordinators. Both the department coordinators and much of the members are stuck in the 80's in terms of large group fitness. As a professional it is difficult to work in a place that has not evolved. Jane Fonda-style group ex is still being taught there and you wouldn't believe the cardio kickboxing and step classes....waaaay to fast and risky. In fact the risks far outweigh the benefits in most of the classes being taught. The group fitness coordinator hasn't continued her education in YEARS. She SHOULDNT be teaching group fitness OR "supervising" a department. She is short and crass with instructors both in verbal and written communication. Don't waste your time and energy teaching here. There are so many other lovely places to teach. **and always remember that they need you. You don't need them!
