Pros

The schedule was very flexible which was super convenient being a student. The people that worked their were also really fun and we all had a good time. The Pay could also be quite nice.

Cons

The clientele of an urban store starts to wear on a person after a while. My particular manager did not give out raises willingly. Being paid on commission (inconsistent pay) also got old. Retaol hours kinda suck.

Huge waste of time

Pros

40% employee discount, hired for a future full-time position (worked part time while in college), hire recent college grads, ever-changing atmosphere, culture.

Cons

retail hours, terrible base salary + commission (3% - jokes) for an employee with two 4-year degrees. Hired for a manager in training (MIT) position and was under the impression I would get full training to be a store manager. No training ever took place. I was paid more hourly than other employees but that was the ONLY thing that set me apart from a sales associate. I was basically hired for holiday help. Was told I would work Mon-Fri 5pm-10pm and be off on Saturdays and Sundays. I maybe worked 1 shift during the week and 12pm- Closing every weekend. Received no such training as to how to manage anything.
