      My time with Buckle was one of my best experiences in retail!

      Pros

      At buckle there really is a great ability to make substantial income if you work hard and sell consistently! Also, the ability to move up in the company is unlike most retail where anyone can work up the corporate food chain.

      Cons

      The downsides are that depending on the store and the management your ability to learn and shine can be hindered. Also, there are more hours of cleaning after work and after the mall is closed than any other store in the mall.

      Pros

      If you can sell, you will have some great paychecks coming your way. The product is so great, I mean extremely over-priced but at the same time, the quality is so great. The jeans last forever! The shoes are name brand. The other brands that they do carry are still top shelf brands. When people come in to buckle they usually know that you pay for what you get, all you have to do is get them interested in the product. One great thing was everyone had respect for everyone's sales and would even help you with selling an item if they saw you struggling.

      Cons

      If you can not sell, you will not like this position. There is a VERY LOW base pay, that is subsidized with your commission, so if you can sell, you can make money. There is not much room to grow, once you are in, you are in line behind the other employees that have been there longer than you.
